Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF)
SPF provides a seamless monolithic 1.5-inch waterproof coat over the entire roof surface. As the cut-away shows, the polyurethane adheres to the vertical and horizontal surfaces creating a watertight seal.

The elastometric coating shown in the diagram protects the vertical surface, while the aggregate protects the flat surfaces. SPF is waterproof, lightweight, strong, slopeable, and an excellent insulator. In the second diagram, acrylic coating is used over the SPF on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.
